St. Patrick's Day 2021

Celebrating St. Patrick's  Day this year was a little different because
Christian and I spent the day doing an interview for the
The Arizona Burn Center.
Our story was selected this year to be featured in the burn center
annual Night Of Heros Foundation gala.
Of course with COVID the gala is virtual-which is a bummer,
but we are just grateful to be a part of this and to be able
to honor the first responders of our accident.
A film crew came to our house and set up the house.
They taped the windows with dark covers, set up lights,
set up cameras, and seating.
The next day (St. Patrick's Day), we began filming.
After hours of filming, they filmed us setting up
for our St. Patrick's Day feast.
We played Enya, Jane made delicious bread
(ATT: WE GOT A NEW OVEN.
We have been without an over since January!!),
I've been pretty creative with my cooking sans oven,
and we've been missing
all baked goods, but especially Jane's bread!!!
Oliver and I made vegetable soup.  I set the table with a green tablecloth,
gold chocolates spread around the table.
We also drank Gingle Ale and finished the dinner off with
a 3 layer green buttermilk vanilla cake.
After the filming crew left we stayed at the table enjoying
dinner and missing Claire.
I printed out a photo of her and taped it to her chair.
No one can sit there.
I miss Claire.
She posted this cute photo of her on her Facebook page.
I see her green earrings for St. Paddy's Day!
