Jane just had woken up from her nap and read herself books
while Claire was still
zonked out on the couch covered in blankets.
You can hardly see her little face poking up around the blankets.
Sometimes the girls would nap together toe-to-toe on that little couch, and
Jane always woke up first and busied herself by reading.
I used to pile several books by her bed or the couch so when
she woke up, she'd read to herself for at least another 25 minutes.
