Today was spent at the Outer Banks.
SOOOO COOOOOL!
Did I mention how much I love it in North Carolina?
And did I also mention it was unusually freezing here?
Another awesome thing about the RV is being able to
park right next to the beach for easy access.
If Lottie's toes are frozen, I can walk her back to the RV to warm up.
I can grab a treat, more towels, or take a quick nap,
(which I haven't done yet, but I could....).
Angus has been in heaven. He LOVES the beach and watching
the Little Nies scream and run around.
He also loves to get his beard all sandy and dirty.
Sometimes I wonder why the devil we brought him.
But watching him at the beach reminds me why.
He's adorable and watches Lottie like a hawk.
His protective genes kick in, and he becomes like the dog,
"Nana" in Peter Pan.
Around 7:00, we decided to head to dinner; the sun was gone, the tide was high, and the temps dramatically dropped.
I picked up Lottie and carried her inside the RV.
Her little feet were bright pink. In between sobs and howls, she said to me:
"My feet are 100% frozen, mom".
I had to laugh.
We ate delicious fish tacos and fell asleep after another
long day. I don't want this trip to end!

Teachings from RMN:
"Blessed Are The Peacemakers", October 2002
"The commandments to love God and neighbor are interrelated.
We cannot fully love God without loving our neighbor.
We cannot fully love our neighbor without loving God.
Men really are brothers because God really is our Father."
