With all my children, Mr. Nielson too, we gathered on my (queen size) bed
and watched a fantastic, inspiring documentary on Joan of Arc.
Oh my goodness, that woman is amazing!!
Nicholas and I have been studying about her in school and
I have to admit I didn't know very much about her but have
been enthralled by her courage and bravery.
Joan believed in God. Her convictions were steady and unwavering.
Joan was, in every word, a heroine. My heroine.
"Every man gives his life for what he believes;
every woman gives her life for what she believes.
Sometimes people believe in little or nothing,
and yet they give up their lives to that little or nothing.
One life is all we have, and we live it as we
believe in living it, and then it's gone.
But to surrender what you are, and live without
belief—that's more terrible than dying—more terrible than dying young"

"Obedience first and foremost means keeping the
commandments of God. By so doing, one becomes worthy
to receive personal revelation!"
