A date with the kids

Yesterday late afternoon I walked out to the
work garage where Mr. Nielson was welding.

I had been inside packing when I realized
I could go on no longer since I was out of boxes.

Mr. Nielson and I decided if we quickly showered,
cleaned up the house, and rounded up the Little Nies,
we could drive the 1 1/2 hours to Albuquerque to the UHAUL store for
more supplies before they closed.
(We're so spontaneous!).

We could also grab dinner at our favorite pizza restaurant, knowing
Since we are moving, this could be our last outing in Albuquerque (since we are moving).
Dinner was delicious, and the evening weather was so pleasant--
the night couldn't just end, so
we continued to walk down the street further
to another joint for milkshakes.

Then something wonderful and magical happened to me:
I SMELLED A RUSSIAN OLIVE TREE!!!!
I kind of freaked out and sniffed really
loud for the next 20 minutes.

That smell reminds me that God loves me.
The sunset was breathtaking, and we all agreed
that the night was a beautiful end to this
chapter in our lives at the "Q."

Teachings from RMN:
Revelation for the Church, Revelation for our livesApril 2018
"Pray in the name of Jesus Christ about your concerns,
your fears, your weaknesses—yes, the very longings of your heart.
And then listen! Write the thoughts that come to your mind.
Record your feelings and follow through
with actions that you are prompted to take.
As you repeat this process day after day, month after month, year after year,
you will "grow into the principle of revelation."
Does God really want to speak to you? Yes! "
