Barbies

Since I began home school, Claire has taken it upon herself
to be in charge of the art class for Nicholas and Lottie.
Claire is very creative and talented, and art comes naturally to her.

Today she gathered Lottie and Nicholas at the long kitchen table
and spread out a plethora of stickers, paper,
glitter, puff balls, glue, and markers.
They made Valentine's Day boxes just
like they would have in school.
Lottie was so excited!

Sometimes I get sad thinking that Claire and Lottie
are so far apart in age (10 years!).
But Claire is so sweet to include her, care for her,  pick out
her outfits, dress her, do her hair, feed her, and even,
play barbies in the shower (which is real love!).

Mr. Nielson and I are headed out of town for a few days
to celebrate our Valentine's Day.
We need a break from life here on the ranch
and we just need to be together.

Teachings from RMN:
With God Nothing Shall Be Impossible April 1988
"You who may be momentarily disheartened, remember,
life is not meant to be easy.
Trials must be borne and grief endured along the way. As you remember that
"with God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37),
know that He is your Father. You are a son or daughter created in
His image, entitled through your worthiness to receive
revelation to help with your righteous endeavors."
