Today is the second day of General Conference.
Again, we gathered on my bed and watched together.
Minnie slept most of the time.
Everyone takes turns holding Minnie because we're all just
hanging around, listening to talks, and she's super fun to snuggle with.
We sustained the prophet and church leaders, and it felt
powerful. I am so thankful for a living prophet, and that through him
God still speaks to His children on earth.
I always leave conference weekend feeling bummed that the
spiritual feast is over, yet so enriched as we go forward for the next
six months until the next conference.
After it was over, we had a family counsel to talk about
what we learned, or felt impressed to change in our lives.
It's one of my favorite parts of the weekend.
In October, I'm going to be feeling back to normal (I hope)
because I'm still not feeling quite like me.
I usually make conference fun with good treats and food.
This year I didn't really, and I missed it.
I miss me.
But I know I will be back.
