As we celebrate the Resurrection of the Savior this month, our family chose
some new activities to do together to make this time of
year more meaningful and Christ-centered.
Tonight with friends, we lit floating lanterns into the sky.
As these lanterns rise into the darkness,
we remember the Savior who rose from the tomb.
The light reminds us that darkness cannot overcome His light,
that death is not the end, and that because He lives, we will too.
Each lantern is a quiet testimony of hope,
a reminder of the glorious promise of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me,
though he were dead, yet shall he live.
-John 11:25
Another successful tradition made!
