Christian made a fire for us before he left for work at the studio.
Later, Umi and I bundled Minnie up and took a short walk around Stillestead.
Then we came inside, made lunch, took a nap, snuggled Minnie,
then Umi read her magazines and books,
and we waited for Lottie to get home from school and Jane from work.
This has been a pretty typical routine for us since Umi has come to visit,
and it's been nothing but perfect.
Through the hours we spend talking,
Mom and I have solved the world's problems together,
and have declared Minnie the absolute cutest baby ever born.
