January in Slovakia brings freezing temperatures and lots of snow.
Gigs' apartment is above the town circle, so there is stuff going
on out his window at all times. I think he likes it.
He also loves Slovakian thrift stores and often finds real treasures,
like his coat with real fur lining, and plaid snow pants.
I don't know where this cat came from, but Gigs will be the first to admit
that he probably misses Kitty more than his own Mom.

The thing in Slovakia is ornate and colorful ribbons.
The thing with the Slovakian missionaries is to sew the ribbons
onto ties and even match with your companion.
Gigs has made (like hand-sewn) almost 50 ties that he
gives away to friends he is teaching or his companions.
