This evening, Christian and I finally left the hospital with our NEW BABY!

I was dying to go home, be with the girls,
and be in my own bed and tub!
if I left my PICC line in. He asked me to return in two weeks to have it taken out,
so unfortunately, I left the hospital with the line still in my arm.

teeny tiny Minnie into her new car seat, dressed in her new outfit from Aunt Sam.

We said goodbye and thank you to my nurse, then we both got in the car,
looked at Minnie, then at each other, and I started to cry. I couldn't believe it.
Minnie was here, safe and sound, and we are
40-something-year-old parents starting all over again.
