Ever Again.

So there I was, outside on my porch, watering my plants.
The sun had gone down a while ago, making the day's heat
 less sweltering.
I leaned up against the porch railing while holding the hose to the
hanging fern plants above.
Gigs walked up to the porch from being in the shed and stopped in his tracks,
but then very nonchalantly said to me,
"Mom, there is, like, a huge black snake behind you."
I laughed and yelled, "Candance escaped!"
"No, seriously, Mom, a snake is climbing up the wall behind you."
I turned around to see a giant black snake slithering up the
side of the house.
I screamed, threw the hose in the air, and ran behind Gigs.
I can't be sure what I said since I was terrified,
but it was funny enough that Gigs was hysterically laughing.
Then he went on to share all the information about the snake
and how they are known for climbing up trees (and houses).
Apparently, they are not poisonous but will strike if prodded.

Then we watched this gross black devil snake slither down over the
railing and INTO THE VENTS THAT GO TO THE STORAGE AREA
I am never going down below the house.  Ever again.
