Today is a very special day.
It's MOTHER'S DAY!
I have to admit, it wasn't the same with Claire and Jane gone.
They are so good at pampering me and making me feel very special.
Christian, Gigs, and Lottie...well, they did their best!
The Nies gifted me with this adorable Kate Spade bracelet
that I LOVE! (Thanks, Claire! I know it was really you!)
with Angus's bum in my face.
Happy Mother's Day to me!
Yes, there are fewer dishes in my sink, less noise, and less laundry
to wash and fold, and it's sad.
I miss the busy days when we were all around.
I miss our weekends together.
But I am so proud of my children, who they are, and who
they are becoming
Really, I can't ask for anything more!
And in church this morning, I cherished my last Mother's Day
serenade by Lottie and our branch Primary singing group.
Next year, she'll be a big girl.
