This morning we had brunch at one of our favorite
restaurants in Gilbert: Snooze.
So much food, with an abundance of pancake selections!
We always try and hit Snooze when we visit Arizona.
After, we took a stroll around downtown to walk off some of that
food baby in all of us, and I ended up making the kids pose
for me, behind a cool mural.
The Nies radiate so much light and so much color!
"President Thomas S. Monson pointed out,
"If you want to give a light to others, you have to glow yourself."
How can we keep that light of truth glowing within us?
Sometimes I feel like a dim lightbulb. How do we grow brighter?
The scriptures teach,
"That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, a
nd continueth in God, receiveth more light."
We must continue in God, as the scripture says.
We must go to the source of light—to Heavenly Father
and Jesus Christ and the scriptures."
Then we got home, and Nicholas said he was sick.
I was sure it was because he overate.
We came home, and he went to bed,
where he lay for the rest of the trip.
