Christmas Fiddle

Jane and her violin posse went to a rest-home to #lighttheworld
and play Christmas tunes for them.
It was so cute to watch these sweet old friends sing along, clap,
and even cry during some of the pieces.
Jane has worked on this music since October.
She sounded lovely and looked beautiful.
I was so proud of her.
This is what Christmas is all about; sharing love for the Savior
through talents, gifts, love, peace, and service.
I love that Jane is becoming a wonderful violinist,
and I love what violin is doing for her.
She is more confident in her choices and the way she holds herself.
She came home from the concert and hygge-ed
it out for the rest of the night.
And that is what Christmas is about too.

“Our hope is to capture the true spirit of Christmas for ourselves
and for those we love. That spirit is characterized by peace. …
The peace of Christmas is ‘the peace of God,
which passeth all understanding’ [Philippians 4:7].
It is the peace that the Apostle Paul promised would
‘keep [our] hearts and minds through Christ Jesus’
[Philippians 4:7]. And Paul was right.
That peace we seek is only through and because of Jesus Christ.”
