Today we ventured to Wilmington where the
Jonesons toured the USS North Carolina.
It was probably one of the hottest days in history of the
USS North Carolina, and we really got a first class ticket to
what life would be like living on that giant battleship
in the summer. Wow.
Our shirts were soaked with dripping humid sweat and we were hungry.
When it was time to leave we had to drag kids out of the gift shop,
but we made it to lunch super hangry.
We walked the pier in search for ice cream.
We also picked up some fudge, and a caramel apple.
And a chocolate covered marshmallow.
Then girls examined Mr. Nielson's multi-colored beard
and I took a photo of it.
Tomorrow we leave the beach house and head
to The White House where the Jonesons will continue
being the Jonesons until Tuesday!!
We are really excited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the
landing on the moon on Saturday.
God Bless America!
