We pulled up to our beach rental on Emerald Isle in the pouring rain.
The weather cleared up for about an hour just in
time for us to run down the street and put our feet in the ocean.
The forecast for the week is rain, rain, rain-
but we are thrilled to be with long-lost family despite the
gloomy cloudy weather.
We have plenty of card games and treats, and honestly, the kids could be at
the beach or at the dump, they are just so happy to be reunited.
Besides, who doesn't like to visit the beach in the rain?
Plus ocean water is a lovely temperature.
We've got some good days ahead of us, and honestly
I could use a few of those.
