Easter 2020

The Nielsons had a wonderful Easter Sabbath!
We enjoyed a very spiritual Easter home church with the Sacrament,
talks and testimonies.
Of course, in our amazing (not really) voices, we sang
several hymns about Christ's death, Atonement, and glorious Ressurection!
(Honestly, sometimes Mr. Nielson and I feel like
we sing a duet to our children).
It was one of the most spiritual Sacrament meetings
I've attended, and I really love home church!
 (I've said that several times!).
After church, the girls and I began cooking Easter dinner.
Easter Menu:
Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes
Pan-seared Garlic Asparagus
Jane's Rolls
Colorful Kale Salad
Strawberry Shortcake with Fresh Cream
We love wearing our "Easter bonnets,"
and the girls wore their vintage Easter dresses.
The boys did get new ties, but they don't really care.

"May we understand and live in thanksgiving for the
priceless gifts that come to us as sons and daughters of a loving
Heavenly Father and for the promise of that bright day
when we shall all rise triumphant from the grave.
That we may always know that no matter how dark our Friday, Sunday will come"
