Fireworks, cake, and 40

Our last day with the Jones family was a birthday celebration
for Spencer who turned 40!!!
We had fireworks and Lindsay made TWO delicious crepe cakes.
Which we also ate for lunch the next day.
We said our goodbyes, but not before taking a few
quality photos of us gals in our feather hair accessories
that we purchased from the Bluewater mall.

Saying goodbye wasn't nearly as hard as I had imagined.
We are piling back in the car today back to Mesa
where I will have a follow up Dr. appointment in Phoenix.

Teachings from RMN:
"Rewards for obedience to the commandments are
 almost beyond mortal comprehension.
The scriptural term peculiar signifies “valued treasure,”
“made” or “selected by God.” " For us to be identified by
servants of the Lord as his peculiar people
is a compliment of the highest order.
When we know who we are and what God expects of us—when his “law [is] written in [our] hearts”—we are spiritually protected.
