Claire will Light the World

"To all who wish to understand who we are as members of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,
I would like to offer a starting point defined by these three words:
We seek Christ."
(Deiter F. Uchtdorf)
In 2013, I asked the Little Nies to share what they
know and believe in Jesus Christ.
In our simple way to help #LightTheWorld this Christmas season,
I have asked my children to once again
share their testimonies based on times they have personally
felt the Spirit in their lives.
At this time of year, I believe that sharing our light with
true charity is vital to
feeling the Christmas spirit and sharing it with
all of our brothers and sisters around the world.
Claire Elizabeth Nielson

"My testimony is that I know that the church is true.
I know that Heavenly Father made each and every one of us with care.
I know that Heavenly Father knows us better than we know ourselves.
He truly and sincerely loves us and wants to hear from us.
And I know that He hears and answers our prayers.
I know that He loves us so much that he sent his son
Jesus Christ to redeem the world.
I know that Jesus Christ died for me, and you so that we can
live again with our Father in Heaven and loved ones.
I love Jesus. And I'm so grateful for His atonement.
I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I love that book!
I know that the events in that book actually happened.
And I'm so grateful that I have my very own copy.
I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon
and that he was a good man.
I know that the prophet Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God,
and that he will never lead us astray.
I know that if we follow the prophet, then we will be protected.
I know that if we keep the commandments,
then we will prosper in the land, and God will bless us.
I know that the Personal Progress Program is designed to help
young women develop their unique qualities, talents, and testimony.
And I'm so grateful I was able to finish it.
I know that the family is of God and that marriage between and
man and woman is ordained by God.
I'm so grateful for my family and especially my
good parents that have raised me in the gospel.
I know that we can do hard things and that God gives us trials to learn.
We are given these difficult experiences so that we can grow into something more.
I know that through the atonement, families can be together forever.
I testify of Jesus Christ and that he lives."
LIGHT THE WORLD!
In 25 ways, Over 25 days.
Once again, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by serving
others this Christmas season.  As we follow His example,
we can help Light the World!
Day 4:
"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
-Matthew 22:39
