Merciful

Sometimes we need reminders of who we are and what our purpose is.
Sometimes we need a reminder about just how well we are doing
despite setbacks, discouragement, pain (physical and emotional),
 failure and defeat.
As I sit at my desk praying for answers, I feel blank.
Answers are either really slow-coming or they seem nonexistent.
Early this morning, before anyone was up, I studied intensely in the scriptures
and read wise wisdom and counsel from the church leaders.
This filled my confused heart and added light and peace
 to my dark bedroom.

"If we give our heart to God, if we love the Lord Jesus Christ, if we do the
best we can to live the gospel, then tomorrow- and every other day-
is ultimately going to be magnificent,
even if we don't always recognize it as such. Why?
Because our Heavenly Father wants it to be! He wants to bless us
A rewarding, abundant, and eternal life is the very
object of His merciful plan for His children."

We can do it. YOU can do it.
I believe in hope because I
trust the Lord, I trust His timing, His plan, and His Son,
Jesus Christ- even when all seems lost.
I know that eventually, light and answers will come.
And I know they can and will make me stronger.
Some of our greatest accomplishments will also
be remembered as some of our most challenging moments.
"If we have faith in Jesus Christ, the hardest as well as the
easiest times in life can be a blessing."

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold
thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
-Isaiah 41:10
