Sundays are one of my favorite days of the week.
We honor the day by attending church, honoring God, and slowing way down.
We study the scriptures, nap, listen to beautiful music,
write in our journals, and have quiet time alone.
Today I spent a good hour playing "babie dolls" with Lottie
in front of a warm fire while the snow fell down outside. It was so cozy.
Sunday's are different than every other day of the week for us, and
I want to make sure my children always honor that.
One of my favorite parts of Sunday come in the evening when we have dinner.
My parents are regulars and I usually try and invite a
different sibling over each week.
Last night we had my brother Andrew and his family over.
Mr. Nielson makes a delicious vegetarian spread, and I
contribute by making the salad and rolls.
After dinner we sit, talk, laugh and reminisce about the good
old times when we were young; like shooting bb guns inside the
house or sneaking to the basement
to eat jello from the box in our food storage.

"After a good dinner one can forgive anybody, even one's own relations."
-Oscar Wilde

 Happy February!
