A Sprinkled Doughnut On A Monday

Mondays in Fox Hill signify a return to our regular routines.
We wake up early, go to bed on time, do homework,
and tonight is Family Home Evening.
It also means that I have to do the laundry from the weekend.
Since Christmas is just around the corner,
today's Monday will involve finishing up last-minute
Christmas projects and shopping.
I want to finish everything before the last minute.
Mondays also mean grocery shopping,
and Charlotte and I will be heading out to the store.
Initially, Lottie found going to the store exciting
but soon found it inconvenient, especially since it meant getting dressed.
As a solution, I agreed to let her wear her PJs and play
with my phone as we perused the aisles.
However, that novelty quickly wore off, and now
I have to bribe her with a sprinkled chocolate doughnut
and let her wear her PJs and play with my phone.
So far, this tactic has been successful.

Happy Monday to you.

Luke 2:8

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field,
keeping watch over their flock by night.
