This morning, Christian came and picked up Minnie and me, and
we drove in his truck through the pastures to see the newest
Nielson calf, Martha. (After Martha Washington).
All baby calves born this year are named after
great men and women in American history
in honor of our country's 250th birthday.
She's vigorous and adorable.
