Today, my beautiful Jane turned 23.
Happy Birthday, beautiful girl!
I will never forget these days with Jane.
She has been my best friend, my doula, my second pair of hands,
and a huge support with Minnie. (Especially during my pregnancy).
Here are just a few reasons I love Jane:
She is practical
She is thorough
She is bright
She is good
She is contemplative
She is spiritual
She is smart
She is bold
She is a nurturer
She sees others deeply
To celebrate Jane, we went to get her favorite acai bowl
and then grabbed dinner at Whole Foods where we all picked
out different foods and then mixed and matched everyone's selections.
On the way home in the car, I apologized over and over again
for not making her a cake.
Except for being on her mission, this is the first year I haven't done that.
Being a baby mommy again is really kicking my booty.
