Tonight I took a photo of my tummy because I wanted a
record and reminder of this remarkable pregnancy journey.
Just a few days after Lottie’s pregnancy and delivery in 2012,
I underwent surgery to excise my stomach scars.
It was incredible how the skin stretched during pregnancy was
skillfully used to cover my painful burn scars.
It was an amazing procedure,
done by my incredible surgeon, Dr. J., in Utah.

Still, stretching for this pregnancy was very uncomfortable, but unlike
with Lottie, this time around, my skin is flawless
and without any scars.
One of the most amazing experiences during this pregnancy
has been watching my stomach grow.
I have once again been reminded that
my body is truly, truly incredibly remarkable!
