Planting Seeds

I took a break this morning from my regular Barre3 work to work around
the yard and get my flower seeds planted.
It was nice to be out in the sun and in the dirt.
It was pretty chilly and barely 50 degrees.
But I was able to weed my garden plot, and around my hydrangeas.
I planted several varieties of Zinnia's, Batchelor Buttons, Sunflowers,
Dahlias and a wildflower mix around the garden border.
My garden is going to be so colorful and
the flowers on my kitchen table and on
the pulpit on Sunday will be stunning!
Gigs was outside working on motorcycle next to me.
Occasionally he'd ask me to come help him and hold a tool,
or lift something, whatever it was, I loved doing it,
and of course I thought about him moving to Slovakia in August.
And I know I will miss these days and wish for them back.
It's so bittersweet.
Around noon, he said he was going in to make lunch.
Of course he was.
He's stomach is like a endless pit.
