This afternoon, before the sun went down,
I went to the chicken coop to gather the eggs.
Our newest flock has slowly been laying.
Inside were five eggs, one blue, one green, and three shades of brown.
I immediately thought about my 5 chicks,
who would ALL BE TOGETHER in my coop in just a few short days!
What a sweet reunion this will be!
