We finally got around to celebrating
Ollie's 18th birthday with his favorite
Mexican chocolate cake with cinnamon glaze on top.
We sang to him and gushed over him.
After dinner, the boys, Christian, and I went to a youth
church meeting while Claire and Lottie stayed home,
and I was jealous.
I am loving and pondering this today:
"Let us boldly declare our devotion to our Heavenly Father and our Savior,
"with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the
merits of him who is mighty to save."
Let us joyfully continue this journey toward our
highest spiritual potential and help those around us to do
the same through love, service, leadership, and compassion."
