Last weekend we celebrated Cinco de Mayo!
We love to wear our fantastic Mexican dresses and shirts,
colorful crowns, and eat Mexican food
We also only listened to the Nacho Libre soundtrack the whole day-
which obviously was a treat.
This year we took blankets to a nearby park and ate Cafe Rio
(of course Cafe Rio!!).
On Sunday, while everyone else napped, Lottie and
I made our traditional Mexican chocolate cake for dessert.
Mexican chocolate cake is delicious because the ingredients call for
cayenne pepper, cinnamon, dutch chocolate, and balsamic vinegar, which makes
it super rich and spicy. It's delish.
