GO COUGS

Last Saturday we drove 3 hours to South Carolina
to cheer on our BYU Cougar football team
as they played Coastal Carolina University.
My brother, Steve, and his son Jamison are on the coaching staff,
and Christian's cousin's son is big man Chandon Herring. #77.
About an hour before we left I ran to the store to get a poster board
to make a few signs for the game.
{"We (heart) Coach Clark!  Go COUGS!" and "GO BYU!"}
I think the Nies were a little embarrassed and dreaded me
asking them to hold up the signs, but thanks to me and my
amazing poster skills, we made it on ESPN a few times!!
Both teams have had an amazing season, and both were undefeated
which made this game a real nailbiter!
And BYU almost pulled out the win!
I mean ALMOST (2 yards away from the winning touchdown!).
We played hard up until the very last second.
It was a great game and I was super proud of my big brother,
and so grateful my family had this opportunity together.
I am savoring every chance I can with Claire before she
grows up and becomes a missionary next month.
And, it's always fun to see so many BYU
fans outside of Utah in one place!
