Her Mother

This was pretty much my day:
Lottie and I lay on my bed while it snowed flurries outside.
Yes, I said snowed and yes I am well-aware it's mid-May.
Lottie rubbed my feet and ate cheddar fishie crackers out of a green bowl and
told me she wants two cats and three dogs when we move to the ranch.
Then she spent half-the day with her bestie and I found myself
wandering around the house missing her.

I just adore being her Mother.
I adore her toes, her fingers, her hair, her brown eyes,
her sneaky smile, her fashion sense, her constant desire to ask questions
and color in coloring books.
