When Mr. Nielson and I designed Fox Hill, I told him I wanted the
mechanical room upstairs to double as a play space for the boys.
So tucked away in the corner of the boys room is a tiny door that opens to a
special space (the mechanical room),
and in that cozy space are thousands of Legos.
The boys go there almost everyday after school to design, build, and create.
Another plus about this room is that I will never step on a one of those
blasted plastic things ever again.
In fact, just the other day I overheard Claire telling her cousin
that the only time she has ever heard me swear was when
I stepped on a Lego while vacuuming.
