News!!

Here's the news!
Mr. Nielson and I have bought a little 12-acre plot of
land in a rural area of NORTH CAROLINA in
Siler City near Chapel Hill.

As you know, last March, our family went on an epic RV trip to the east coast,
and we absolutely fell in love with North Carolina.
We explored the area and found a quiet little place called Pittsboro
which was settled in the 1750s and has so much history and beauty.
It has curvy country roads, white fences, fireflies,
magnificent trees, and pleasant weather; we knew we could live there.
I do have a "must-have" list when moving,
and North Carolina has them all:
1. Seasons: Fall and Spring are the best, and it DOES occasionally snow!
2. Mountains: The Blue Ridge Mountains are just hours away.
3. Land to take Angus running on without a leash: 12 acres of my own land.
Check, check, and check (and the ocean nearby, too!).

The Little Nies are eager to move, and like me, we are all
ready for our own home!

Last week we went to Albuquerque to get boxes at the U-HAUL store
and saw a North Carolina truck.
We took it as a sign.
We are excited to be neighbors with Jordan and Craig, and kids.
Jordan and I grew up in the same neighborhood,
and Jordan's parents make the beautiful glass stars I adore!
Craig is a fabulous human and a fantastic ER doctor.

A BIG GINORMOUS THANK YOU TO: YOU!!!
I appreciate your love, counsel, wisdom, and encouragement through your
kind letters, e-mails, and messages. I wish I could write back and thank you
personally. Please know how sincerely thankful I am for them.
They have truly been a lifesaver!
XOXOXO
