On a Summer evening in 2011 I met with my publishers to talk ideas for
the cover of my memoir 'Heaven is Here".
I kind of wanted the cover to look like a half-finished painting.
In my mind, I felt like it made total sense since
a lot of my life is not colored in yet, stories not yet told,
and still so much of life yet to be lived.
I have often toyed with the idea of maybe writing another book
because I am living my favorite part of the "story"--
it's the parts that are colored in; the surviving parts.
Parts like living, breathing, healing, creating, mothering,
loving, and celebrating.
I am certainly doing all of that now- and more.
It's good to be alive.
