Mourn with those that mourn

On April 15th, Randy Palmer (husband to Lindsay (center),
and father to 6 children,
including daughter Bailey next to Lindsay),
was burned in a work related accident in Idaho.
I was notified about the accident through a good friend of mine-
who also was Randy's brother-in-law.
Randy was taken to the burn center in Salt Lake City, Utah, where
he lay in a coma.
Mr. Nielson and I felt fortunate to be invited to Randy's bedside were we
were able to see him fighting strong.
I felt so honored to be a part of this
spiritual, scary, and very personal time in their lives.
Lindsay and I talked about the grace of God, miracles, peace, and we
chatted about how she and her children were holding up.
While Randy lay in a coma fighting for his life, his oldest son went to the prom,
and his youngest son turned 1.
I can't express to you how horrible burn injuries are.
Randy would have a long road ahead of him, but everyone was up for the fight.
On May 12, however, Randy passed away with Lindsay and the children close by.

My heart is broken and I wish I could do more for this wonderful family.
But I can pray.
And I am sure the family would appreciate your prayers too.
When I woke up from my coma, I felt the prayers and good thoughts from
from so many-all around the world.  They were tangible.
I felt them.  And the Palmer family will too.

Mr. Nielson and I will be in attendance at Randy's funeral today in Idaho.
You can help.  Go HERE to financially help, and
 HERE to read Randy's obituary.
