How I got off pain meds.

I think it is safe to say that I have had enough morphine and other pain
meds to put down a herd of elephants between the years of 2008-2012. Seriously.
Because of my horrific burn injuries, pain medication was administered
multiple times a day just so I could live and function.
After I was released from the hospital,
I went home and the pharmacy came with me.
I needed pain medicine to function for almost four years
 after the initial accident.
In 2012, I found out that I was pregnant with Lottie!
I was thrilled, but also very nervous because I was still relying heavily on my
medications to help control my pain and function as a mother.
I knew that I didn't want to continue medication
while little peanut developed in me,
and I resented that I had to rely on a pill for my sanity and comfort.
So, I began the steps of weening off all of my medication.
It was hard, I was always frustrated and always in pain.
I often felt lazy, and tired and mad.
I couldn't decide if I really needed the pills to help me function,
or if I was addicted.  I think I was both.
I didn't want to wake up in the mornings because my skin hurt so bad.
I didn't want to face my life and my problems because it was all so overwhelming.

My doctor introduced me to GungHo, which is an energy shot.
I started using it immediately.  It gave me the energy to power
through the day without my usual morphine and oxycontin.
It was amazing how it suppressed my need for these pain medications.
No longer did I need to take pills in the morning to get me going, or
move my body, or even feel happy.
This whole process took me about three months and then I was free from
pain medication all together.  This was kind of a big deal for me.
I noticed as I took less and less meds that my life became clearer
and my attention to detail was sharper.
Not to mention my relationship with God was more fulfilling and
I could feel His love for me in a very deep way.
I have had several surgeries since Lottie was born, and used
pain medication post-surgery.  I have been able to stop the medications without
any addictive tendencies.  It's actually a big miracle,
and I owe part of this accomplishment to GungHo.
Last week Mr. Nielson and I went to visit Danny Mason,
who is the CEO of GungHo.
I consider Danny as part of my "healing team", right along with my
doctors, therapists, nurses and other health care providers who changed my life
because of their positive effect in helping my quality of life.

I talked Danny into discounting GungHo for you at
50% off a box if you are interested.
You should be, It's TOTALLY worth it.
This deal will last until September 12th.
