If you're next to me...

"Christian, I could never had made it through this without you.
You have made things better for me and for the children.
Where would we be without you?...We have each other.
We were both hurt in this accident, you know what I've been through
and I know what you've been through. We can do this as long as we are one.
Christian, if you're next to me, I can do anything."

He took my hand and held it against his chest and said,
"I prayed so hard for you to come back. I'd lie there in my hospital
bed pleading with God every day to bring you back.
I'm so thankful you're here."

It was a miracle that either of us had lived through the accident,
and our conversation turned toward other miracles of our recovery.
Soon we were talking about our children and how blessed we
felt to be able to take care of them.

"There's a plan for us, Christian.
I know God is taking care of us," I said.
Christian squeezed my hand.  "I do, too."
I nestled my head against Christian's shoulder, and he reached
his arm around me and held me close, then leaned in for a sweet kiss.

Happy Fathers Day dear husband.  I love you so much.

Spiritual Enlightenment:
Do you want to cry thankful happy tears about the DADS of the world?
