She is happy.

This evening Mr. Nielson put the family in his truck as we
ran a few errands together before dinner and the evening rush.

The leaves on the mountains are as vibrant as ever.
I know I have said this before, but they make me so happy.
I felt serene and complete...that's what this time of year does for me.
I happened to look in the side window of the car to see
Claire, her eyes shut enjoying the autumn air out her window.
I sensed she felt the same as I did.

I watched her eyes flutter with the shadows and the sun,
and the wind blow her little arm hairs.
I knew her mind was somewhere else.
Probably dreaming of riding a black horse (her favorite) in a field of sunflowers
or dancing on her new pointe shoes in
front of a very large crowd.

Wherever her mind was this evening on Canyon Road in Provo,
she was happy and so was I.
