Keep moving

Tonight I enjoyed a nice September rainstorm.
It didn't last long, but the sky got dark and it made the bright vibrant
autumn leaves on the mountains glow.
I cooked vegetable stew
{thanks Boss Nielson for the delicious bounty from the ranch}
and listened to the sounds of my family in
the living room playing and the rain out the window.
My legs have been a pain lately. They sting and standing up
for too long hurts. The best way for me to forget about
my pain is to keep moving.
I keep cooking, keep driving, keep praying, keep cleaning,
keep picking up toys with my children,
keep up with the laundry, keep walking, nursing, bouncing, sweeping,
weeding, typing, dishes, make beds, change sheets, vacuum, and dust.

When bedtime comes, I am usually very ready to lay this awesome body
of mine down for a good nights rest.
But before sleep and in the dark of night with the windows wide open
Mr. Nielson and I count our blessings.
We have so many.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the
events on September 11th
