Re-Posted: Slow Cooker Day

I'm Carli, 27, mum of 3, LDS, Sydney Australia.

I would love to request.............Slow Cooker Day (Feb 2008)

You know why I love this woman?? She is down-to-earth real. The title of this post says it all - those days you just can't get ahead on anything, and every time you try to start the to-do-list a nappy needs changing or the coco-pops spill on the floor. It's reassuring and comforting to know another mother of young children on the other side of the world feels like I do too. I just LOVE that Nienie shares the days where things aren't working out the way she wanted, and she sees the funny side in it all. (I love their little faces at the window :)

She probably in her wildest dreams didn't think women the world over would draw such strength from her - laugh, cry, and grow.

It has been a slow-cooker day.

You know one of those days where you just cant quite get started.

My breakfast dishes are just now loaded. My children were just served lunch.

In the midst of not getting anything done and frustrated, I locked the children out. Then after an hour or so of "I don't care what you do out there" I let them all in. (tears and all)

Hopefully by bedtime, I will have gotten in the shower, exercised and ready to spend time

with Mr. Nielson.
