Back to work.

Here's to another day of normalcy-I never thought it could feel so good.
With Mr. Nielson back work after a long painful tonsillectomy, we are back to work.
Here are a few examples of what I mean:

breakfast with just shoes on.

Eating unidentified objects.

Oliver is being Ollie; you know like escaping out the garage door while I bathe gigs and wandering so far away that the police show up at my door with my son and his scooter.
Apparently Oliver followed Jimmy out the door (in his PJ's)
and who knows how far he got.
I guess far enough away that the police were called.
Oh you know, just a little 3 year old on a scooter following a dog is all.
After a heart-felt alibi and pleading with officer Rodriguez
that I am a really good mom,
he takes my name and number down. Can you say CPS?

And finally,
hearing toys being pulled off shelves is all music to my ears
because it means my children are happy, my children are content, my children are not in a cop car,
and most of all it means we are back to work!
