"We dig up diamonds by the score"

Oh the fun to be had in Tuscon for the annual gem show.

My darling brother-in-law Andrew is a first-class jeweler and he and his father John invited me along with Lucy and Mother to experience pure eye candy.
Beautiful colors, textures, and shapes invaded my thoughts for the next few hours as I got to see and touch precious jewels.
My deepest desire was to find a beautiful hair pin-like the old 40's style-no luck.
(dear, mr. nielson will you find me one? like this.)
I did find hand-carved pink coral flowers that
Andrew is going to make into a necklace.
After we felt something like the 7 dwarfs, John took us to a crowded steakhouse (which served only meat) and John slipped me $20, dropped me off at the grocery store where I picked out the best piece of wild sockeye salmon available where he
insisted the steakhouse cook
and prepare for me, which they did.
It was an adventure to say the least.

thanks for the good time, looking forward to it next year.
