One snowy afternoon while in Utah

Lucky for me, it snowed while I was in Utah!
As soon as the white stuff started falling from the sky,
my dad started a fire in the living room fireplace.

Then we turned on some Christmas music.
This might be a little premature for you, but not my family!
We can't get enough of this time of year!

Then mom made hot chocolate for the girls which they
drank out of vintage Halloween mugs.
The same ones I drank hot chocolate out of when I was a little girl.

Then as the day turned even cooler and the sun went down,
the swimming suits went on and the girls
spent the next few hours in grandpas hot tub.

The hot tub has lights around the perimeter that change colors
and are synchronized with the music.

I fear it's going to take a lot for me to get into the Christmas spirit
while living in the desert.
I hope I can talk Christian in bringing us all back to Utah for the holidays.
I need the snow, the cold, and a roaring fire in the fireplace.
I even think I need to see my grandma Marion's festive Christmas sweaters.
I hope I'll be coming home for Christmas!
