The box

With each new grand baby my sweet mother (Umi) has
she gifts the little darlings a special gift; a beautiful wooden box made by
my cousins (Jeff and his wife Nanette) stuffed with all things baby.
On the top of each box is a unique and beautiful handwritten poem.
But it's what's inside the box that's my favorite.
Mom handpicks special little outfits on cloth hangers, blankets,
and delicious lotions to pamper the baby with.
Just yesterday my "box" arrived in the mail for our new baby.
Since we don't know what we are having, the box was pretty gender neutral.

Sometimes I consider having more babies just for this special gift.
Just kidding.

Thanks MOM!
