Christian and I lay on our bed late Saturday afternoon.
"Lets go into the city" I said, and we all got up, packed the kids in the car and went on our way to the big apple. It was dazzling as usual with lights and decorations at every corner shop. The smell of roasted chestnuts soaked the streets. People lined up for the Saks light show and times square was bubbling with people and shoppers. It was as busy as usual. Rockefeller was beautiful with the glorious Christmas tree. The girls were awe struck. We watched the ice skaters all evening. Jane especially loved when someone would fall down. Her cute little laugh was contagious to all around her. Christmas would not be Christmas without New York City.
